Ashby’s Adventure Trails and Treks organises and leads group runs and trail runs in Coventry and Warwickshire, and walks and treks in some of the most beautiful and remote locations in the UK.
What makes us different?

Qualified Run Leaders

All our runs are led by a UK Athletics qualified and experienced run leader.

Focus on physical and mental health

We're a friendly running group!  We believe fresh air and exercise are good for mental health and wellbeing, and we'll make you feel welcome. 

longer runs

We include runs of longer distances to train runners for 10km races, half marathons, marathons, and ultra-marathons.

stretching and core fitness

Our sessions include instructions on warming up and cooling down. We also engage in core exercises and look at running techniques to help you become a stronger runner. 

all fitness levels welcome.

We offer 0 to 5km running courses for complete beginners. We invite you to get in touch with us whatever your fitness level. 

organised events for teams

We organise runs and activities for individuals, groups, teams, and corporates. 

mountain hikes for all fitness levels and abilities.

We organise hikes and treks up mountains including Snowdon, Cader Idris, the Glyders, and more.

We plan days out and weekends away, immersing ourselves in nature and the British countryside.

As working from home and hybrid working become the new business norm, it's more important than ever that teams have opportunities to meet and bond. 

Businesses are invited to get in touch to arrange an event for the purposes of developing employees’ personal skills, team building, or a unique corporate experience.

With experience of encouraging all ages and abilities to succeed and excel, Ashby’s Adventure Trails and Treks will inspire individuals to push their boundaries and sample new territory. 

Courses are available with basic survival training to enable participants to learn about themselves and understand how to survive in mountainous terrain, from creating fire and building shelter to surviving cold water shock. We take corporate groups out of the office, introduce them to the most isolated places in the UK, and provide individuals and teams with the opportunity to bond and grow. If you would like participants to try canoeing, kayaking, or any other activity, let us know and we will do what we can to make arrangements to accommodate your request.

So today I ran 15 miles. It's crazy to think that six weeks ago, I was considering pulling out of the London marathon because I could barely run two miles. I can't thank this group enough for helping me change my mindset, believing in me, and helping me get my confidence back.

Ashby's Adventure Trails and Treks can tailor an experience based on what you want to achieve, ensuring the distance and level of difficulty is right for you. 


Book a trek or hike with us to fulfil a personal goal - or for enjoyment. Just let us know what appeals to you and we can talk about a bespoke experience. Or, if you want to join other like-minded individuals, click on our Events page to see what's available. We organise treks to the summit of Snowdon in a day, and hikes in Wales, Cumbria, the New Forest, and the west coast of Scotland. Safety is paramount to us, so we keep group numbers low. If you're a more advanced walker or runner looking to challenge yourself with longer distances, mountainous terrain, and steep inclines, let us know. We enter ultra marathons throughout the year.
