SUNRISE CLIMB
Depending on the time of year, our climb begins at 4am....So we can reach the peak in time for sunrise.
Location: Cader Idris, Meirionnydd, Wales.
For this event, we aim to climb to the peak of Cader Idris in time for dawn to see the sun rise over the horizon. However, what we see depends on the weather conditions. Whether or not we see the glorious colours of the sunrise, you are assured of an exhilarating climb. We set off in the dark around 4am and you'll feel your senses come alive. As the sun rises, you'll feel more connected with nature and experience an inner calm that says with you way beyond the hearty breakfast you enjoy on the way home!
Difficulty Level: Reasonable level of fitness required due to limited time to reach the summit for sunrise.
