About the event
At 893 m (2,930 ft), Cader (or Cadair) Idris is one of the highest mountains in southern Eryri (Snowdonia). We'll hike the Minfordd Path to the summit, which is approximately 10km/6 miles and takes about five hours. It's a steep climb, but incredibly rewarding.
Cadair Idris is a stunning mountain to conquer. The eastern slopes are a regular haunt for fans of the Mach Loop low flying aircraft practice area. We might see gliders swoop by high above the valleys below.
